Hog House in NYC
2 Story-profile
In conjunction with Schiavone Construction and the Department of Environmental Protection, Nadler Modular has been providing office trailers at multiple sites along the route of the Manhattan Water Tunnel Project. The planning for the City Water Tunnel No. 3 (as it is referred to by those in the industry) began back in the 1960's as the city realized their 150-year old water system would soon be unable to meet the growing needs of its' consumers. Construction began in the 1970's to try to create a third aquifer system and improve Tunnels' 1 and 2, which were already functioning at full capacity.

Nadler is providing "Hog Trailers" at many of the sites along the tunnel's path including a two-story complex on Manhattan's Westside. The term "Sandhogs" was coined for workers who dug out the granular sediments during the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge. Our Hog Trailers provide locker storage and shower and bathroom facilities to the soiled workers who spend most of their days excavating underground.

Completion of the tunnel is estimated for the year 2020.

Fort Dix's primary mission includes a training center and strategic point of mobilization and deployment for Army Reserve and National Guard units. Our modular units are being used as temporary facilities during these training exercises so that soldier's have a place to clean up even when they are out in the field. Each unit provided includes 15 shower stalls and 15 sinks.
